• Conduct holilift from LZ Becky to Thon Son Lam commencing 011600H. Provide security for Thon Son Lam and route #9 in AO. Helilift one company to FSB Joan Opcon 3/3 effective 011700H.

• Provide security for Thon Son Lam, Khe Ciq Bridge and route #9 in AO

• Conduct road sweeps and security in AO/ Conduct search and destroy operations on 1/3 AP

13-14 August 1968

• Commencing H-hour, D-day, conduct heliborne assault to seize LZ’s MAC & AMY
• Conduct search and destroy enemy forces, cashes and installations

15-21 August 1968

• 151300H Aug 68 Commence heliborne assualt to seize LZ Dick (YD 032628) 
• Conduct search and destroy operation along axis of advance BLUE to find, fix and destroy enemy forces and fortifications in A)
• Be prepared to continue offensive operations on order
• Be prepared to link-up with 2nd Bn on order.

22-24 August 1968

• 220800H commence search along axis of advance BLUE to locate and destroy enemy forces
• Seize Objective #1
• Continue search of Objective #2
• Establish company patrol base in vicinity of Objective #2. 
• Pe prepared to establish a patrol base in vicinity of Objective #3 on order, upon extraction of 2ndBn.

25-28 August 1968

• Conduct corden operations in LEATHERNECK SQUARE area in conjunction with other units assigned to the 1st Marines. on 26 August 1968 at 1800 the 1st Bde, 5th Inf Div (Mech) assumed responsibility for KENTUCKY A) and units operating therein.
